The most delicious porridge

Many people associate porridge with a bland grain slush. However, it does not have to be that way. Oatmeal can be interesting, a nutritious and very tasty breakfast. Here is my way to start the day.

Ingredients:

100g of oatmeal
spoon of honey
cinnamon powder
milk
half a pear
delicacies

Prepare the porridge in the evening. Pour oatmeal into the bowl, add honey and sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Pour milk over yes, so that its surface almost completely covers the petals, we mix, cover with cling film and put in the fridge overnight.

In the morning, the petals will be soaked and soft, and virtually all the milk will be absorbed. Dice half the pear and add it to the porridge. We also add dried fruit: I use chopped cashews, raisins and diced prunes.

The porridge prepared in this way will not only be very tasty, but also nutritious. Fruit, even the dried ones, will be our first portion of fruit and vegetables consumed during the day, and oatmeal will saturate us and keep us from going hungry for several hours.

The recipe can be modified depending on your preferences and the ingredients you have. Replacing a pear with an apple is possible, although I personally believe, that the pear is just tastier. Honey can be replaced with delicious maple syrup or a more neutral-tasting agave syrup. We can choose dried fruits and vegetables almost freely, as long as they are not salted. Vegans and lactose intolerants can successfully replace milk with their favorite substitute.
