Kwaszonka i marmolada

Kwaszonka – silage
canned vegetables or fruit (possibly with the addition of salt and spices) fixed by automatic (anaerobic) lactic fermentation, as a result of which sugars are broken down by bacteria into lactic acid. Due to the chemical composition, pickles are made primarily of such vegetables, like cabbage, cucumbers, beetroot, and from the fruit – from apples.

Marmolada
sweetened fruit concentrate, obtained by concentrating fruit purées (mainly apple) with added sugar (10…60%). Depending on the consistency, marmalade is distinguished: hard and soft, a depending on the composition: one-, two and multi-fruit (possibly with the addition of vegetables, e.g.. pumpkin).
