During one of the last visits to Mr. Ryszard in Maccheroni, I came across an interesting drink. My attention was drawn to the exceptionally interesting packaging, i.e. a black bottle with non-obtrusive white inscriptions. Turned out, that the drink was invented and produced by the client of Mr. Ryszard. It was hard not to be tempted by such a novelty.
It is supposed to be a drink on the opposite extreme to energy drinks, that is a drink that relaxes and helps de-stress. The L-theanine contained in it is supposed to be responsible for this action, which, how can we find out from Wikipedia, has a relaxing effect, calming and stress-reducing, and at the same time it does not make you sleepy. To be precise, it is obviously a non-alcoholic drink.
Its fragrance is delicate: honey, floral with a hint of lemon tea. The color is pale, more like green Ice Tea than freshly brewed green tea.
The taste is exactly the same notes, what's in the smell: like a honey drink with lemon and tea notes. Is sweet, but not clingy, well countered with lemon; the aftertaste of the tea essence is also felt, but it is not dominant. Carbonation with carbon dioxide – medium to low.
As for the action, hard to say. We did not notice any very calming effect, but I have no idea if it doesn't work for melancholy, it was too late and we were sleepy, or we just had too little drink (a bottle in half).
The drink is not the cheapest, because it costs 8 PLN for a bottle with a capacity of 330 ml, however, for me it definitely is must have.
