Cheese sticks with lettuce

breadsticksIngredients for 4 portions:

4 tablespoons of oil,

2 small heads of lettuce (preferably of different species),
salt, freshly ground white pepper,
1 kg of vegetable fat for deep frying,
sweet pepper for sprinkling

Preparation method:
Clean and wash the lettuce thoroughly, tear into small pieces.
Drain the water in a strainer or with a clean cloth. Clean and wash the peppers, cut into small cubes. Thoroughly clean and wash the mushrooms, cut into thin slices. Mix the vinegar and the mustard, season to taste with salt and white pepper. Gradually, Add the oil while grinding. Cut the yellow cheese into lengths 6 cm and width 1 i 1/2 cm. Stir the egg with a fork. Wrap the cheese sticks first in the flour, then in the egg, at the end in breadcrumbs. In a large saucepan, heat the deep-frying fat to approx. 180°C. Put in portions of breaded cheese sticks, fry around 2 minutes until golden brown. Remove from fat with a slotted spoon, drain on tissue paper. Put the sticks in a warm place (for example, you can put them in a slightly preheated oven). Mix the lettuce with the chopped peppers and mushrooms, pour the prepared wine-gret sauce, stir slightly. Spread the finished salad on plates, put hot cheese sticks on it. Sprinkle with a little sweet pepper, serve immediately to the table.
